Raven's Enchanted Woodland Walking Cape ~ $179.99 ~ The inspiration for this cape came from my friend, Raven, who requested a more practical, every-day sort of cape.  Lightweight yet warm,  this cape was created to add enchantment to every day living.  It has a mid-length front, angling down to a longer length in the back, yet still not floor length, to allow for full freedom of movement.  The fabric is black velvety anti-pill fleece.;  the very  deep and rounded hood is fully lined with Softest tight-weave Cinnamon-Pinecone Velour Fleece, for extra warmth and comfort.  The inside front is also lined with Cinnamon-Pinecone to match the hood.    An ornate brass elven like clasp fastens this cloak at the neckline.

Melanie,  Ooooooh! She's here, she's here! My beautiful, beautiful cloak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YOU. . .are. . .AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is my FAVORITE shade of plum and so like the sample you sent. It is dark,  but still rich and purple, and oh, so SOFT!
I ADORE the scroll stitching down the front. It is so graceful and accentuates my form underneath.   It was a wonderful, magical surprise to see such a detail.

The black accents are slightly heathered, which I didn't expect but think are very beautiful.   I think it gives amazing depth to the hood, and the strip on the underside of the front (at the opening) will keep me extra snug and warm. I didn't realize this when I asked for accents, but am so glad I did!

The length is perfect. It is so full and substantial and still has such lovely drape. The quality of the wool is DIVINE.
The clasps are PERFECT. I like that I have the option of fitting the hood closer to my head if it is very cold. The roll on the hood, I can tell, will help keep the hood open and away from my face and block the wind very well when it is up.  She is so much more than I even imagined. Thank you, thank you, thank you!   Now I have the perfect piece of outerwear that I can wear EVERYWHERE: the woods, the town, the city. . .to work,  or the Ren Fest, or visiting faerie folk.  I am officially a loyal customer. . .
